My First Impression
My package arrived within 6 days of ordering, which already puts me in a good mood. There is nothing worse than buying something new online and waiting weeks for it to arrive. So far, I am happy with the delivery process of this company.
After unpacking, I placed the Dehumix on the table, and its stylish appearance immediately caught our attention. After letting it sit for 24 hours, we were eager to test it. The 24-hour wait was to allow the compressor oil to settle and help the device operate as expected.
Dehumix has passed CE, FCC, and ROHS certifications, and its dehumidification and air purification effects have also been tested, ensuring its safety and reliability.
Test
Finally, it’s time to test it. If it doesn’t work, no matter how cheap the instrument is, it’s not worth recommending.
We primarily test dehumidifiers based on factors such as setup, effectiveness, ease of use, design, and features.
The operation of Dehumix is very simple. After plugging in the power supply, one button turns on the dehumidification, one button turns on the air purification, and one button turns on the sleep mode. There are no other complicated operations, and even the elderly can get started immediately.
We turned on the Dehumix in a damp bathroom, and within five minutes, we saw water begin to drip into the water tank. We were satisfied with the result. The humidity was initially displayed at 91%. After 4 hours later, the dehumidifier showed 69% humidity. After five hours, the humidity dropped to 63%, and the water tank showed the amount of water shown in the video below.
We kept the Dehumix running continuously, and it eventually brought the humidity down from 91% to 45%. It takes about 60 hours to fill the tank almost completely. When the water tank is full, a red light turns on, and the device automatically stops dehumidifying. This prevents overflow and ensures safety. This test showed that the safety features are quite good.
The Dehumix can also be connected to a drain hose so it can dehumidify while it’s constantly draining water. The only downside is that the hose is a bit short, so you’ll need a large bucket or place it near the drain. We replaced the included hose with a longer one so it’s easier to place the unit anywhere and keep it running.
